To add Blogcopy code snippet to your Blogger website follow these steps:


  • 1. Sign in to your Blogger account.
  • 2. Navigate to the Design tab
  • 3. Click on Edit HTML tab and scroll to the bottom of the code in the HTML field
  • 4. Find the </body> tag, which usually appears towards the end of the code in the template.
  • 5. Paste the BlogCopy code snippet just above the </body> tag.
  • 6. Click Save Template.
  • 7. Click Republish to update your live site.

Wordpress installation

Note: WordPress offers two types of accounts: hosted and self-hosted.
  • - If your blog is hosted on Wordpress.com you have a hosted WordPress account and BlogCopy does not yet support this platform.
  • - If you have downloaded files from WordPress.org and uploaded them on another web server you have a self-hosted WordPress account.

Here's what you should do to add the BlogCopy code snippet to your self-hosted Wordpress blog:

  • 1. Sign in as Admin in your WordPress installation.
  • 2. Go to the Appearance panel, on the left sidebar of your dashboard.
  • 3. Click on the Editor section.
  • 4. On the right side of the dashboard there is a list of template files. Click on Footer (footer.php) file to edit it.
  • 5. Scroll down inside the 'footer.php' file, until you find the </body> tag.
  • 6. Insert the BlogCopy code snippet right above it.
  • 7. Click on the 'Update file' button.



TypePad installation

To add BlogCopy code TypePad website please follow the steps below.

  • 1. Login to your TypePad account.
  • 2. Click on Blogs to choose your page.
  • 3. Then click on the Design tab and 'Content' area.
  • 4. Under Categories click on Widgets.
  • 5. Then under Modules click on 'Embed your own HTML'.
  • 6. In your TypePad account click on the Add Module button.
  • 7. Change the name of the custom module and paste the script into the HTML area. Click Ok to save.
  • 8. Move BlogCopy module to the bottom of the page and click Save.
  • 9. You have completed the installation of BlogCopy to your TypePad page.
  • 10. You can login to your BlogCopy account to see the data being collected.
